Tubes - RHS & SHS

Steel tube or hollow structural section is a long, hollow, steel structural component that has a multitude of applications. Steel tubes can either be seamless or they can be electric resistance welded (ERW). ERW tubes are manufactured by roll forming a steel strip through a series of dies and welding the edges longitudinally to complete its shape. Seamless tubes on the other hand do not consist of any welds or joints, and are instead manufactured from steel billets.  

Square Hollow Sections(SHS), Rectangular Hollow Sections(RHS) and Pipes are some common types of steel hollow sections. Al Ittefaq Steel maintains a large inventory of hollow sections, comprising of a wide variety of sizes and thicknesses. Furthermore, many of the sizes are available in both, mild steel (MS) or galvanized steel(GI).
