MS & GI Pipes

Structural hollow sections with circular cross sections are known as pipes. Pipes with thinner walls are generally manufactured through the process of longitudinal electric resistance welding(ERW) of rolled coils (known as ERW pipes), whilst pipes of thicker walls are extruded out of steel billets (known as seamless pipes).

Al Ittefaq Steel has some of the widest varieties and specifications of pipes in Qatar. These include Mild Steel(MS) pipes, galvanized steel(GI) pipes as well as Schedule 40 black pipes of different sizes. Pipe sizes at Al Ittefaq Steel generally range from 0.5” to 8”.
